Our sweet 8-year-old Violet is on the autism spectrum and has ADHD, sensory challenges, and ARFID (Avoidant/Restrictive Food Intake Disorder). ARFID isn’t just picky eating

— Violet has slowly lost the ability to eat even her safe foods, leaving her without proper nutrition and losing weight.

The only program in Florida that can help her is an Intensive Feeding Therapy Program in Boca Raton. It lasts 6–8 weeks, 5 days a week, 3 meals a day, and costs $28,000. On top of that, my sister will need to take unpaid leave to stay with Violet, and they’ll have housing and meal costs since the facility is nearly 3 hours from home.

This program could change Violet’s future, but the financial burden is overwhelming. We are asking for help to cover the therapy, housing, meals, and lost wages so Violet can get the care she desperately needs.
