Feeding Myles
Donation protected
Myles is like every other kid. He loves to climb, jump, and do anything his older siblings are doing. But soon after he was born he struggled to gain weight and then he would lose weight rapidly. It was clear he had a lot of stomach pain, and eventually started passing blood through his GI track. After a year of test after test and numerous doctors and specialists who were baffled by his case, he was finally diagnosed with a rare GI issue. At that point it was a race against time. Now that he had a G-Tube (feeding tube) and a diagnosis, he could begin the long journey of gaining weight so that his brain and body could catch up to the development of a normal one year old before permanent delays set in.
Now that he is almost three years old, he has progressed so much in his little lifetime! But the medical expenses from doctors visits, surgeries, and the specialized formula he needs on a daily basis have added up. In order for his family to catch up with medical expenses and keep feeding him the life sustaining food he needs they need your support.
He loves his family so much. His night time prayers are never complete without thanking God for each and everyone of his family members. His mommy had a feeling right before he was born that he really loved his family. He does so much better with everyone around. He misses them when he's been away. Myles has been through so much in his short life and handled it like the brave champ he is.
Myles’ G-Tube is placed in his stomach. His family call it his “button”. Presently, he thinks his button is his super power. What does his mommy think? She thinks he has two belly buttons. One that gave him life and one that saved his life.

This was the first time he was happy and played after g-tube surgery. 1:45am. His mommy knew he'd be "ok" in this moment:
