There are way too many people that are starving every single day. This is a problem, every single person in the world should have enough to eat every single day.

More than 50,000 asylum seekers have arrived in NYC coming from mostly Central and South America since last spring. Most are people who have come to the U.S. because there are a lot of bad things happening in their country. Now they have no place to stay, are hungry and are not allowed to work in NYC. The city is not providing enough resources for them.

In honor of my Bar Mitzvah, I will be making sandwiches and distributing them to 200 asylum seekers who are living in shelters in Brooklyn. Please consider donating money to this cause to help me achieve this feat. This is important to me because I want there to be equity in the world.
