To those who love Baja California, we are in a time of need. Many families in our community are suffering without money to buy food and basic necessities. We are asking for donations that will make a huge difference. Our focus is to provide food and basic supplies to the families who have been affected the most during this COVID 19 crisis. As many of you know, we live in a large tourist community, and this tourist community is in complete shut down. All restaurants have switched to To-Go service and have layed off most of their staff. Most hotels have shut down and have layed off their staff. We are dealing with unprecedented situation here. In Mexico there is no social blanket like what is afforded in the States. No $1200 checks are being given out here. Families we are helping live pay check to pay check, week by week, day by day, with little income to feed their families. A little goes a long way here. We are providing food hampers that will feed a family of 4 up to a month. These hampers include basic food supplies along with household essentials such as laundry detergent, soaps, and cooking oil. Every dollar will help greatly during this time. There are a lot of families to feed. Please join us and make this situation a little less unbearable for a lot of people.
