GROWING BAND!

The Newton-Conover Band has been blessed with a large, talented group of student musicians. Unfortunately, we don’t have enough instruments for our front ensemble. Up until now, we have been able to borrow a MARIMBA from another school, but we know that can’t be our long-term solution.

That’s where YOU come in!

We are thrilled to announce our fundraising campaign to acquire a brand-new MARIMBA for our talented band members. A new MARIMBA with a field frame costs over $6,000 ( including shipping and handling fees).

Your generous contributions will directly impact the quality of our performances and the musical journey of our students. All monies raised will go directly to the Newton-Conover Band Booster Club which is the primary funding source of the Newton-Conover Band Program.

The Newton-Conover Band Booster Club is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization that seeks to provide students in the Newton-Conover Band Program an enriching musical education and opportunities beyond what the school system can supply.

Our students attend a Title-1 school meaning over 75% of students are considered as economically disadvantaged. Unlike most bands in our area, we do not charge our students large band fees. We want all our students to have the opportunity to be a part of our award-winning band program.

Every donation, big or small, brings us closer to our goal and ensures that our students can continue to thrive and inspire through their music.
