I never planned to rescue a dog while I was in Bali… but Lucy had other plans.
She showed up at my place one day and just stayed. No hesitation, no fear—like she knew she was finally safe. Since then, she’s made herself at home, and honestly, she’s one of the sweetest souls I’ve ever come across.
Lucy isn’t just another street dog. She’s gentle, loving, and just wants to be close to people. She follows me around, wants to be inside, and looks at you like she’s been waiting her whole life to be chosen.
I’ve already taken care of her vaccinations and I will be getting her spayed to make sure she’s healthy and set up for a better future. But the reality is—I can’t keep her. My lifestyle and current situation just don’t allow me to give her the stable home she deserves long-term.
What I can do is make sure she gets one.
My goal is to get Lucy to Canada, where she has a real chance at finding a loving, permanent home and never having to survive on the streets again.
The process of relocating a dog from Bali to Canada is expensive—between vet care, travel documents, flights, and transport through Jakarta, the costs add up quickly. That’s why I’m asking for help.
Every dollar raised will go directly toward Lucy’s relocation, medical care, and getting her safely to Canada.
If you’ve ever loved an animal, you know they don’t need much—just safety, love, and someone who chooses them.
Lucy chose me when she showed up here.
Now I’m choosing to change her life.
Anything helps, and even just sharing this means the world
