Feed the Need - Fighting Food Insecurity

Help us keep our fight against food insecurity going. For every dollar donated to FoodConnex, we can rescue and distribute approximately $3.00 worth of food to those in need. Rising costs and decreases in funding have put a strain on our FoodConnexx program, which has been in operation since 2018. We need your help to continue to provide this essential program to our communities and clients. We serve Foothills County; Claresholm and area. FoodConnexx provided over 18,700 meals in 2024 to our clients. We rescued 168,770 pounds of food from local grocery stores, businesses and restaurants. Our team of staff and volunteers work weekly to provide nutritious food hampers to those who need a helping hand. We are at risk of having to reduce our program offering if we are not able to raise the funds needed to operate FoodConnexx. We are seeing a steady increase in new clients needing our service and help. Money raised will go to support our current and future clients. Local philanthropist, Rick Green, has offered to match dollars, up to $10,000, to help us continue our mission to end food insecurity.
