Help needed. Today I visited Candybank Ponies & Events .

This amazing lady has solo saved 28 orphaned lambs this year. She is feeding each lamb 5 times a day by hand - mostly alone. She is also footing all the vet bills as every little lamb has a defect or illness - hence why they were at sale at auction for as little as £2. Heartbreaking.

She is looking for volunteers to help out - watch her Facebook page for more details.

Right now she needs help to feed and raise these little lambs. Each lamb costs approximately £10 per week to raise. Thats £280 a week just to get them into adulthood where they can then spend the rest of their days happily on the farm.

Each bag of milk is £29

These little babies (and many other animals) have been saved by 1 amazing woman.

A woman who dedicated her time to rescuing the *underdogs* of the farming and animal world. The *not quite perfect* animals.

Sessions to go feed the lambs for a donation will be available soon also - let me be clear these will probably not even raise enough money to scratch the surface of food and vets bills. This is not a plea to help a business - its a plea to help rescue animals. The Farm is in the process of becoming a Social Enterprise and will be offering many therapeutic inclusive activities for all and volunteering opportunities.
