What is Feed the Fight?
It is an 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that supports the fight against COVID-19 by providing restaurant-prepared meals to healthcare and grocery store workers fighting against COVID-19.
It helps the community in two ways:
~Provides orders to local restaurants who face unprecedented challenges in the face of social distancing ~Provides nourishment to those burdened by fighting COVID-19
Those on the frontlines get a healthy, delicious meal and local restaurants get badly needed business to keep staff employed. Simply put, it’s a win-win for the community.
How does it work?
This program is entirely funded from donations from the public. Every dollar donated will go directly toward paying for the meals. So the more money we raise, the more food we can deliver to those on the frontlines in our community. Each meal is about $12.
Orders that match the agreed-upon safety and health requirements are placed with local restaurants- we will pick up and deliver the meals directly to the hospital or grocery store- then they can distribute the meals to the amazing people fighting COVID-19 in our community.
