With a second national lockdown and another long open-ended closure, 2021 continues to put further stress onto many small businesses, Wynford included, having been closed to visitors for 7 of the last 12 months.
As a Farm our top priority is our Animals, not just their health, but their happiness too. The cost of feeding them doesn't stop, not even for a pandemic. And this Winter has proven to be a harsh one, which means less grazing for the animals, and higher feed and electricity costs.
Here at Wynford we have hundreds of animals, and dozens of species with a huge range of needs, from rare domestic farm animals to reptiles, exotic birds and meerkats. Our animals, our team, and our family rely on the income the farm makes to survive.
We would like to thank all of our amazing visitors who showed incredible support and kindness when we were able to open last year, and when we had to close. And a personal thank you to our fantastic, adaptable, and all round incredible team - we couldn't do it without you.
Anything you can give to help with the ongoing cost of feeding the wonderful Animals on the farm would be incredible.
