Feed Starving Families in Afghanistan

My family and I are creating this GoFundMe to feed starving families in Afghanistan. As many are aware, Afghanistan is currently undergoing one of the largest humanitarian crises, as reported by the WHO and other well-known agencies. The recent overthrow of the Afghan government by the Taliban has led to the loss of government funding and thus, more than half the population is now jobless. With no source of income and no available jobs, the people are left hopeless. Millions of families are facing extreme hunger, which has led to the death of millions of innocent Afghan lives. Those that remain are extremely malnourished, and each day their life is withering simply due to the lack of food.

This Ramadan has been particularly difficult because the majority of people don't have the means to buy a piece of bread, let alone a full meal, to break their fast. Our goal is to assist 200 hundred families by providing a food survival package. Each package aims to feed a small family and will include:

40kg Bag of flour

4kg of Sugar

4kg of Beans

10L of Oil

One package to feed one family is estimated to cost around 50 US Dollars. My family living in Afghanistan will purchase the items and help distribute to the villages which are most affected.
