My name is Natalie Goebel, a German residing in Seoul, South Korea. I know Safaa because she reached out to me, asking for help. She lives in Gaza City under constant threat and in fear. This campaign does not aim to take sides with anyone but rather help a family survive, because every human being deserves to live. Every human being deserves food and water, especially their children. Children have nothing to do with this war. They are innocent, pure souls that need to be protected at all cost.

In Gaza, over 500,000 people are currently facing horrific living conditions. Since October 2023, more than 63,000 people in Gaza have died. This is not about taking sides with anyone. This is about human decency and saving real human beings from starvation. After all, we are all human.

This particular campaign aims to help feed Safaa's family, particularly her children. Her kids are craving Molokhia, a traditional Palestinian dish, but instead, they are constantly facing hunger, not knowing whether they will have food and water tomorrow, whether they will live or not.

This is the story of Safaa Shihab.

"I am Safaa Shihab, a Palestinian mother living in Gaza, which is still living in the shadow of genocide and starvation war. I am 32 years old and I have 3 children. My husband worked in building houses. I was like any other mother, taking care of the household and children. Our life was simple in our beautiful home. The war broke out and my simple home was destroyed. We were displaced more than once and in more than one place, fleeing danger. We live daily in fear and hunger. My husband lost his job because of the war that drained everything we own. I need your support to get food for me, my children and my family. Your support means a lot to us. With your help, I can provide food, clothes and necessities that my children need. Any contribution, no matter how small, can make a big difference in our lives. My family and I deserve life."

I created this crowdfunding campaign because the people in Gaza are not able to make one themselves as they do not have access to neither online banking nor ATMs, thus making them depend on our help. All of the money will be received by me first who will then send it directly to Safaa so she can use her debit card to make payments, as cash is not currently not available.
