What is this for?
Please help feed the incredible staff at the Royal London Hospital who are battling Covid.
In this wave of the pandemic, hospital staff are now caring for over 150 intensive care beds. There are a huge number of staff who have been redeployed from across the trust and the NHS. Teams are pulling together to provide care with no end in sight. Staff morale and well-being needs to be bolstered.
Staff don't have time to get delicious, healthy food as they are so busy. We at Humdingers (Robert and his team of amazing chefs) are helping, by delivering 200 nutritious meals a day!
How will the funds be used?
Humdingers are providing 200 fresh, hot, delicious meals every single day for the next three months. They started on 12th Jan.
The value of the food, if charged at Humdingers' normal rate, is approaching £120k.
Humdingers are doing this completely free of charge. Let's help them at least cover some of their costs!
What will your support mean?
If we can at least make sure our brave, exhausted front line workers are well fed, then we will have played our part.
This horrible disease robs our society of our lives and livelihoods. Most of us can do nothing to fight it except to lock ourselves in. This is one way that we can - let's do this together!
Please give generously but even a small amount goes a long way.
Just £15 should be enough to feed a frontline nurse a healthy hot meal everyday for a week.
