Conferences are expensive, even for faculty with full time jobs.  Conferences in Vegas...crazy expensive.   The Spice Market Buffet at the conference hotel (Planet Hollywood) is $30.99.  Let's raise enough to send all of the students and recently graduated contingent faculty to dinner!

The Low-tech Logistics: Me, a clipboard for people to sign-up, and small envelopes with $31 at the opening reception on Thurs. evening.  They can buy a buffet or whatever...point is, many of us remember what it was like and at the least we can do is buy them a meal. I'll be working with ATHE to get a list of registered graduate students and contingent faculty.
