My friend Cat is one of the sweetest people you’ll ever meet! She is so sweet that she would never directly ask for help herself. That’s why we’re doing this for her, and for her family in Brazil, so they can continue their dream of helping as many animals as possible in their town.

Cat just came back from visiting her bio family in Brazil for the second time in years. Many years ago, after learning she was adopted and getting in contact with her bio family, she developed a loving and deep relationship with them! One of the first things she learned when they met years ago? Her mom and Tias share the same deep love for animals that Cat does.

In their town near Fortaleza, Cat’s mom and family feed every stray and injured dog they can find, every single day. Dogs who have been abandoned, hurt, or left without anyone to care for them now have a safe place to eat, rest, and heal.

The need is growing. More dogs arrive each week, sometimes dropped off by people who know this family will help. But food, care, and medicine are expensive, and it’s more than one family can handle alone.

That’s why we’re asking for your help. Every dollar donated will go directly to feeding these dogs, getting them medical attention, and making sure they are cared for with love and dignity. Eventually the end goal is to be able to open up a sanctuary for the animals to live and receive medical attention.
