In April 2023, I started a ‘Feed a Child a Day’ initiative to inspire young children to attend school. I started this initiative in Nigeria, a third-world country where economic realities are harsher than in the United Kingdom. As a result, children are uninspired to go to school because they are hungry and demotivated.

Education is the bedrock of our society and a stepping stone to a brighter future. In encouraging young children to go to school, they gain life skills that are useful for the rest of their lives regardless of the path they take after their primary education. It is crucial that every young child is given the opportunity to acquire this knowledge and skill.

This initiative works by feeding young children in primary education every week until the end of their academic year to incentivise them to attend school. Learn more on our website by clicking here.
