FEED 1000 people

Bangladesh has countless tragedies on a yearly basis. And as a muslim I am obliged to spend Ramadan, 1 of 12 months every year enriching and enhancing self discipline as well as nurturing selflessness.

Over the years I have come to the realisation that conventional charity can often feel like drinking soup with a fork.

Which has in the past few years motivated me to take a more hands on approach and organise and fund certain initiatives myself.

Over the years my team has grown and last year I with my team achieved great outcomes. This year we intend to give ability to anyone and everyone join us in our efforts in filling a belly and being the reason of many smiles worn for the purpose of pleasing my most merciful Lord.

This year I, HAFIZ ISLAM pledge to volunteer my efforts in organising the process of feeding atleast 1000 people in Chatpur Bangladesh where only in august 2024 100,000 people were reported trapped in floodwaters for over a week. Present day March 2025 the recovery is still on going and in primitive stages. The incomprehensible magnitude of damage is something most just like myself couldn't even fathom.

To fix all the issues would be a dream come true, however with my limited resources and capacity I wish to wake up and at least do what I can.

Imagine reminiscing on something as simple as a meal..

Trying to remember what a half full belly event felt like..

Sadly that is a reality that reminded me,

Without hunger and food, nobody would work.

However the work load needed is mind boggling thats why I wish to feed atleast 1000 people and reignite any hope lost for those who have forgotten what a good meal feels like.

The target is to raise this figure by 15th Ramadan and I will personally fly out to Bangladesh self financed to be present and do more. If this target is not reached I will give an additional donation being the value of what would have been my ticket there.
