Tara's gone. Gabriel needs you now.

Our Precious daughter Tara lost her long battle with cancer on Wednesday, October 15, 2014. She is no longer in pain or suffering.  She tried desperately to stay with us, but God wanted her with Him. She leaves behind her legacy, her 4 year old son, Gabriel.  He was the light of her life, her everything.  She wanted to teach him to tie his shoes, walk him in to his first day of school, Do all the "first" things mothers want to experience with their babies, but she couldn't.
He is now without his mommy.  The one he first loved. His teacher, his protector. Her love lives on in him. No one will ever replace his beautiful mommy.  No one will ever be able to read and act out a story like his mommy.  No one will be able to give those little ticklish kisses like his mommy. Or hold him when he has a bad dream and kiss his fears away, like his mommy. As his family, we can try to do these things but we will fall short.  He is loved.  That is one thing she knew for sure before she left.  Everyone loves this precious little miracle she left behind.  Please help us give him the start in life she so desperately wanted to do for him herself.
From our families, The Stegalls, Pfirmans, and Whisonants, we thank those that has given and those that have prayed for our daughter Tara, and our Gabriel.
Also, I want to add, if you are able please, please, please, Give Blood.  Give the gift of life.  Someone's blood made my daughters life easier many times this past year.    God Bless you all... Jane Stegall

This was my daughters' story and request...

My name is Tara Jane Stegall and I have been re-diagnosed with Telangiectatic Osteosarcoma bone cancer. My oncologist here in Charlotte is fresh out of treatment ideas for me so we will be making a trip mid-October to DC where there's a clinical study that I MIGHT qualify for, but I have to be physically present to be assessed. My amazing family will be going with me but that also means: more money for food...gas...lodging, etc, and any donation would be a tremendous help towards making that happen. I don't know anything else but to fight! I just seen my little boy blow out his 4th set of bithday candles and I am determined that those will not be the last.  I don't know what else to do but to fight this battle!! I truly appreciate every one that has prayed for me and with me, donated their time and for the ongoing support in helping me fight this fight! I pray God blesses every last one of you a hundred times over.
