Hello. This is extremely hard for me to write. I'm not good at asking for help, but I have no other choice. My children and I are leaving a very abusive situation. I have done what I need to do to stay safe legally, but now I need help keeping it that way. I'm asking for help with lawyer fees and a security deposit for a new, safe place to go for me and my 4 kids.

For years I have made excuses, and looked past the abuse, but that stops now. But in order to ensure it doesn't happen any more, I have to fight. And this is the biggest fight of my life. Unfortunately, due to circumstances, I don't have the financial means to secure that safety for me and my kids, which is why I'm asking for help.

The lawyer is $2000, and a security deposit for a new safe place is about $3000. I will be ok once we are in a better and safer place, but I just need help starting it. I'm not asking for more than that.

I just don't want to be a victim anymore, and I know now I can't be silent, and I have to ask for help. So, if you can, please help my children and I start anew.
