DOING MY PART TO SUPPORT REAL, TRUE, AND AUTHENTIC ARTISTS...
When creating The Tiny Book Co.™ and our coloring and activity books, the hardships that AI is having on artists was top of mind.
I believe that The Arts are extremely important to our society. AI will never replace the authenticity of a human made piece of art - the love, the effort, and the blood, sweat and tears put into each piece.
So, part of my mission with The Tiny Book Co.™ is to provide paid work for artists to help me with the design of some of our coloring books. While The Tiny Book Co.™ owns the rights to these works for hire, we give full credit to each artist respectively by naming them as the Featured Artist on the books they work on with us, along with a Featured Artist page on our website to promote their profiles to others who may be looking to hire real artists for their own projects.
While it is far from enough to fix the impact AI is having on The Arts community (if there is a fix), I hope to at least do a little to help while I can and am proud to welcome these artists as members of my shop for some of our book projects.
All other books without a Featured Artist listed on the back, are designed by me - Debra, Founder and CEO of The Tiny Book Co.™ brand.
As the Founder and CEO of The Tiny Book Co.™, I have managed to bootstrap our first 20 tiny book releases since our Fall launch but am now in need of some financial help to continue my mission of hiring real artists in lieu of using AI.
With the launch of this fundraising campaign, my goal is to raise enough funds to be able to hire more Featured Artists for 1-2 (or more) tiny book releases each month.
ALL funds raised in this artists fund will be solely allocated to paying the artists for their work. Other expenses, such as book production, marketing, etc. will be paid for by me, and revenue from the our book sales as we grow.
The ultimate goal is for The Tiny Book Co.™ to have sufficient revenue and profits to cover all costs associated with our Featured Artists program in the future.
