Feather is a beloved friend and sibling in Christ to all who know her. When she was diagnosed with MS ten years ago, Feather and her partner Kris remained strong in their faith, continuing to be a blessing and help to all they know despite their own personal struggles.

Feather’s diagnosis of MS masked the symptoms of a cancerous tumor that started to grow on an ovary, so when it was finally discovered recently it was at Stage Four.
During all of this, the job Kris has held for 15 years cut her hours, so she went from a full-time to part-time employee, with the resulting wage loss. And of course, Feather is unable to work now.

Feather and Kris are the first to visit a friend in the hospital or at home when they are struggling, to text their friends messages of love and support when they are going through hard times, or just to remind them they are loved. They have worked tirelessly at the church with smiles and love for all, a constant presence who bring peace and comfort to all.

Feather is receiving chemotherapy treatments, when that is done, her doctors will consider surgery to remove the mass. Both she and Kris remain faithful that God will see them through this time.

Feather and Kris have been a light in so many people’s lives, we want to take one worry off their plate so they can both focus on Feather’s healing and recovery, and not have to worry about finding the money to pay rent, utilities, or any medical-related expenses.
