Fearless Leader Daniela

Hi, my name is Grace and I’m Fundraising for our Fearless Volleyball Coach Daniela. She’s a single mom to her 12yo son at SJE. Daniela shows up everyday to teach our boys skills even when she’s not feeling well. Going between both A and B team practices, games, etc. Putting herself aside to be there for the kids. I asked her why? She said it makes her happy & keeps her mind off what is going on in her own personal life for a moment. Daniela was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer and went into remission. She started having pain in her back and her cancer has returned, putting her at stage 4. She is going through Chemo, scans and everything in between, and yet she is always there to teach these boys a sport that she holds close to her heart. She was recently laid off from her job. She doesn’t want to ask for help, but sometimes we could use it. Being that she was laid off, she has already had to pay Cobra for a month to allow her to do chemo & a PET scan. If anyone has ever had to pay Cobra you know how ridiculously expensive it is. Right now it would be great to come together and help Daniela to cover at least 6 months of insurance and any other bills she might have to allow her focus on her health and getting other insurance in place without stressing out. Please if you can help with something for this kind, beautiful momma, I know she would greatly appreciate it.
