Heard of these long ambulance wait times? Know how stretched the NHS staff are? Problems like these make emergency healthcare in the UK just that but more difficult and tense. However, the North West Ambulance Charity provides rapid pre-hospital care in emergency situations, where an ambulance may not be available. With pilots, specialist doctors, and trained paramedics on every helicopter, they are able to offer more care, faster. Currently, they need to raise £18 million this year in order to provide this care.
