Support Amanda's Fight Against Cancer

Our Family got some devastating news last week when we learned that Amanda’s cancer has returned and is spreading after being in remission for close to a year. Today, she met with her oncologist who is referring her to several different specialists who are located around the country. She will visit doctors at MUSC, Duke, and Emory. The doctor has recommended she get involved in a clinical trial to try to fight this. These trials will most likely take place in Houston at MD Anderson or NYC. Traveling, hotels, hospitals stays, and doctor appointments add up quickly, and they are going to need help financially. If you feel led to give financially, your gift will be appreciated more than you know. Any donations will go directly to Amanda and Shep. We will also set up a Venmo account if you prefer to send money that way. The most important way that Amanda and her family can be supported right now is through prayer. Pray for healing for Amanda and peace for their family. Pray that the Lord will use this very bad thing for His glory. The Lord has healed her once, and we believe He can do it again. Honestly, the best way to help me right now is to pray. Pray for physical healing once again, pray for strength for Shep to keep preaching in the midst of the battle and that Satan will not have a foothold in His life because of this, pray that my family will not fear, but will still rejoice in who God is ( His faithfulness and kindness to us even in trials), pray that my children will cling to Him and grow in their faith, pray that I will love Jesus more than I love my life here on earth (that's my battle..I'm not afraid of death at all, I know I'll be with Him, but I just don't want to leave my family behind).
