Support for a Brave Child's Healing Journey

My name is Sharazzi Huguley and my 3-year-old non-verbal daughter was harmed at daycare. Her arm was broken in two places, and I was never notified by the daycare. My child was left in pain all day until I picked her up around 5:50 that afternoon. My child had to be rushed to UAB Children’s Hospital to have surgery immediately due to the break being so severe. No apology was made by the daycare, and the story about what happened to my daughter has changed multiple times.

I am currently going through depression and stress. My mental health is not at its best right now, dealing with my daughter being in pain, the investigation, and a number of other things I’m having to handle, as well as being a single mom in nursing school. Anything will help. Thank you so much for your support.

Update on my daughters case as of March 2025 DPD closed my daughters case due to lack of evidence I am not forced to take other actions.
