Bill Taylor is a staple here in Tuscaloosa, AL. He is known and loved by so many and a huge ALABAMA fan. Bill needs our help right now. He is presently on a medical leave of absence from Home Depot, where he has worked for 18 years, due to multiple health issues. He recently made application for disability. This process takes time and meanwhile Bill has no income. A group of friends has organized as "Help Bill" to provide for his needs. We are asking for financial support to cover Bill's mortgage, car payment, insurance, utilities, groceries, medical expenses, etc. until the disability process is complete. We have a plan and individually we have already been assisting him, however we wanted to organize to provide a complete safety net for Bill. We are hoping that the Tuscaloosa community that Bill loves so much can offer some financial support as well. Right now our goal is to raise $2,200 per month to cover all of his bills and have a little extra for unforeseen circumstances.
We also will need help building a front ramp for his house and possibly a house cleaning and yard work crew.
All monies contributed will be used directly for support of Bill Taylor. Administrative expenses are being underwritten by the leadership team.
Our future plans include partnering with other benevolent organizations to get Bill's house and car paid off.
