Hello everyone, my name is Eliana and my father who you may know as David, experienced a great loss on 8/28 when his home caught fire and his beloved cats perished inside. He is a first responder who also teaches, and an all around incredibly dedicated person.

I did not ask him about making a go fund me but as I feel rather helpless being on the other side of the country in Maine, I just had to do something. This is all fresh as I’m making this the day after the event, and all I know at the moment is that it was a total loss.

I am hoping that the community he has fostered through his hard work in Arizona can come together in his time of need and yeah, I’ve never done one of these before but my heart breaks for him right now.

Community is all we really have in times like this. So even if you can’t afford it financially, please keep him in your prayers.
