As of 8pm CT today Lola left this life. 

Our hearts are completely shattered. Our sweet girl, Lola, is fighting for her life right now.

This afternoon, she was joyfully running in a field, but the Texas heat was too much. After about 30 minutes in the 100°+ temperatures, she suffered a severe heatstroke and is now in critical condition at the emergency vet.

We are devastated. Lola isn't just a dog; she's the soul that has pulled our family through some of the worst challenges we have ever faced. She has been our constant, our comfort, and our reason to smile when nothing else made sense. Now, she needs us to fight for her.

The vets have been honest—the next 48 hours are critical. We need to pursue intensive life-saving care, but the cost is overwhelming. We have to swallow our pride and ask for help from our community. We've set up a fundraiser to give our girl a fighting chance.
