Veterans in Crisis

We are fundraising to assist in the costs of medical treatment, ceremonies, Avalanche Veteran Support, and the family impacted by Matthew's recent passing.

Some of his friends and fellow service members were inspired by him earlier this year to setup a foundation, Avalanche Veteran Support, to help veterans like him who require immediate access to transportation, intervention services, and urgent medical care. Avalanche was created to help veterans bridge the gap between emergency medical situations and quality insured care, which the VA is sometimes not able to provide.

The team at Avalanche have gone above and beyond to provide assistance to my family and me as we navigate through this ongoing crisis of Veteran Mental Health. In order to offset the initial out-of-pocket costs of emergency medical treatment for our family member, Avalanche helped me develop this GoFundMe campaign.
