Second chance

Hello, my name is Angela Ha.  I joined GoFundMe in hopes of raising money for an electric power wheelchair for paraplegic to give my father a second chance in life.

In January 2018, my dad had thoracoabdominal aortic aneurysm surgery which unfortunately caused him to become paraplegic from his chest down. Since then, he's been fighting physically, emotionally, and mentally to gain back a sense of normalcy.

With the constant need of care, my father decided to stay at a long term rehabilitation center. With the scarce resources that are provided, he has been bed bound for over 2 years. As time went by, he lost most of his muscle mass which made it impossible for him to use a manual wheelchair. Electric power wheelchairs specifically for paraplegic patients are costly and are not covered by his insurance. 

Due to Covid -19, I haven't been able to see my father in months. I would love to be able to see him soon; but more importantly, I would love to see him be able to go physically outside in the sun. He recently told me how he forgot what the warmth of the sun felt like. Please help me change that for him. 

This is a challenging time for everyone but I would be forever grateful if you can help my father in any way.
