The Manning Family

Hi, my name is Olivia and I am a close family friend of the Mannings and the Webbs.
This past October, Linda Manning was diagnosed with Stage 4 Renal Cancer that has metastasized to her lungs. Lesions were also found in her abdominal lymph nodes and around her aorta.
Linda’s fight against this horrible disease has included her receiving aggressive immunotherapy treatments. These treatments require her to travel frequently to M.D. Anderson in Houston, Tx. The treatment shows signs that it is working and shrinking the cancer in her kidney. However, on January 9th, Linda was rushed from her home in an unresponsive state to the Freestone County Medical Center ER in Fairfield, Tx. With several test runs and no answers, she was then care-flighted to Christus Trinity Mother Francis Hospital in Tyler, Tx on January 13th. After many more tests and still no findings, Linda's status did not change. ICU doctors at Mother Francis conferred with oncologists at M.D. Anderson. The doctors believe that her current unresponsive state is a result of a rare side effect of her cancer treatments. She was then care-flighted on January 19th to M. D. Anderson where she is currently in ICU receiving that treatment but remains unresponsive.
Her husband Rick, daughter Liz, son-in-law Brandon, and sister Sharon have been diligently by her side throughout all of this, advocating the best possible care for her. During Linda’s stay at the hospital in Tyler, Liz who was 39 weeks pregnant, went into labor. On January 17th, Liz and Brandon welcomed their first child, Rhodes Christopher Webb. Liz has been discharged; however, Rhodes remains in the NICU. He is doing well and hopefully will be released soon.
Throughout this unimaginable and stressful journey for the family, they have been and are continuing to incur extensive costs of not only medical bills, but hotels, meals, travel, etc. There currently is no anticipated date as to when Linda will go home from the hospital in Houston. Liz and Brandon remain away from home in Tyler with baby Rhodes.
A Caring Bridge site has been created for Linda to help aid the family in keeping everyone updated on what an incredible fighter she is.
This family has always stepped up to help others in need, and they would never seek this type of assistance for themselves. I wanted to create this fund as an opportunity for others to now help them. Any donations are greatly appreciated.
Please continue the thoughts, prayers and good vibes for the Manning, the Webb and the medical staff during this difficult journey and for Linda to wake up and enjoy baby Rhodes. They are so very appreciative of every one of you.
