As a super fit riding instructor living a healthy vegan lifestyle Samantha Day (39) thought her life was on the right track. That all changed on July 31st this year when she went to a doctor with stomach pain and discovered she had metastatic bowel cancer. Suddenly Sam felt very alone, unable to work and her family 14000km away in the UK.

Since that date Sam has undergone multiple surgeries and remains in hospital where she will be receiving chemotherapy. Typically for Sam, her first thoughts are for her dog, a hungry Great Dane, and the horses and the students she's missing at Centura Riding School.

Sam's future remains uncertain, but she needs our help. As long as Sam is battling this condition she has no income, while her expenses - both regular and related to her illness - continue to mount up.

I have created this Go-Fund-Me account so that the wider equestrian and Great Dane-loving communities hear about what's happened to Sam. Any contribution would be gratefully appreciated to help he with her ongoing expenses during this incredibly difficult time.
