FCR Colleagues & Communities Affected By Wildfires

As many are aware, Oregon has been devastated by a once in a lifetime fire season. As of the creation date of this fundraiser,  50+ wildfires have burned more than 500 square miles of land in Oregon, and there have been severe impacts on several of our communities. The most devastating destruction has occurred in Roseburg, Veneta, and the surrounding areas of Grants Pass. We feel fortunate that most of our colleagues are safe but understand the impact these fires will have in the coming days.

We are looking for the best ways to directly support our colleagues and communities. FCR will be setting up this GoFundMe page for internal and external donations. Additionally, we will also be donating $3,000 to the evacuation sites as well. All monies will be dispersed via our Community Alliance Teams directly to colleagues who experience evacuations in their local communities and who are displaced. All colleagues who have experienced evacuations will also receive additional PTO hours to offset any lost hours and wages.

For our communities, FCR will be also utilizing the GoFundMe to donate funds and resources to the local evacuation shelters in Grants Pass, Veneta/Eugene, and Roseburg.

In times like these, we try to do everything in our power to support the most vulnerable. As an organization, FCR will be there for our colleagues, their families, and the broader communities we are a part of. Our colleague’s safety is and always will be our top priority.
