Hello!

My name is Sadie Smith, and I am currently a second-year Animal Science student at Iowa State University. Becoming a veterinarian has been my dream for as long as I can remember. I want to help ensure the health, safety, and well-being of animals while contributing to future research and development in the field of animal care.

This coming January, I have been given the incredible opportunity to study at University College Dublin—a once-in-a-lifetime chance to learn animal science from a global perspective.

Visiting Ireland has always been a lifelong dream of mine. Through dedication, hard work, and a little bit of luck, that dream is finally within reach. Studying abroad will allow me to explore how another country manages the health of both domestic and farm animals. This experience will not only help me grow academically but will also shape the veterinarian I aspire to become.

Any donations that I receive will go towards my tuition at University College Dublin, as well as housing, food and cost of living from January to the end of May.

I am truly grateful for this blessing and for everyone who has supported my journey so far.
