Help Overcome Financial Strain from Injury

Hello everyone. As you may know, I fell 3 weeks ago and fractured my foot. That was on a Friday. The days before that I was really sick and had missed a few days at work already, then I fell Friday morning trying to walk dogs and fractured my 5th metatarsal. I started my job January 13th, and they require 90 days before you can use PTO. I am grateful they did not let me go after I broke my foot and had been so sick. My 90 days is April 13th. The Monday after falling I went to work, my mom was here and I saw ortho doctor that Tuesday. My work has been great but due to not having PTO, and pain, I've missed out a lot on the full 40 hours a week. I have been trying hard to push through the pain and discomfort. And then I wasn't able to work my prn job either on weekends as it is direct patient care. I am very grateful for the accommodations of my full time job, but it has been very difficult since being sick and falling and breaking a bone to manage financially. It's quite embarrassing to ask for help. We all need help, but with everything going on in the world, I feel it's even harder to ask. I'm trying to stay afloat financially, pay the hospital bills from falling (which I'm applying for assistance), manage self care, while depending on other people, when I know they have enough to deal with already without adding a gimpy person. I like to be strong, independent, and self- sufficient. But this season of life has been quite difficult. I wanted to see if anyone has the ability to help, but if not, at least I just kind of mini vented the stress I've been under and it may help me move forward with more determination.
