Wright Family House Fire

Hi my name is Emily and I am starting this GoFundMe in hopes to help this wonderful family rebuild all that was lost last week in a sudden, devastating tragedy at their home.

 

Just three days after Christmas, on December 28, 2021, 78-year-old Cleveland Wright lost his Jackson (Mississippi) home of 40 + years to a tragic house fire. His belongings, family photos, and decades of memories all went with it. This is the home in which he and his beloved family have made beautiful memories through the years. The home where he raised his daughter, Ashley, and where he currently takes care of his two beautiful grandchildren, Aubreigh (11) and Tyler (7). Because they spent the majority of their time there, they lost most of their belongings as well.

 

I am starting this GoFundMe in hopes to help Cleveland and the Wrights get back on their feet and begin to rebuild all that has been lost.

 

The funds raised will go directly to the Wrights and will be used to purchase immediate basic needs, and moving forward to help Cleveland find a new home. We hope to lighten the burden during this devastating time in their lives. Please help us begin their recovery process by donating anything you can give!
