Kyra's Half Marathon to Support Willen Hospice

In May last year my Dad cycled 350 miles from Paris to Milton Keynes in 4 days to support some amazing charities. I thought if he can do that at 52 years old, surely I can run a half marathon at 24?

So in July 2024, I signed myself up for the Milton Keynes half marathon. Whilst I may go on the occasional run, I am definitely not a runner! But for Willen Hospice I know I’ll be able to push myself and do it

Willen Hospice has previously supported someone very close to my family, and although she is sadly no longer with us, I know she would be stood by my mum’s side, cheering me on!

Willen Hospice provides specialist care for people whose illness no longer responds to curative treatment (also known as specialist palliative care).
