Update: Aubrey Camille Konchar passed this last weekend after battling with everything she had. Words can't truly reflect how much all of us are going to miss her and how diffucult this loss is for Ralph, Jackie, her siblings, and all of family and friends that loved her so dearly. We do ask for continued support in anyway that you can as Ralph and Jackie have a lot of expenses from the medical bills to the funeral to cover. If you cannot support them financially, words, thoughts, and prayers are just as important and very helpful for all of us at this very diffcult time. Thank you to all of you for your donations, gestures, kind words, and thoughts for our family. Aubrey already was an angel but now she is in a better place with many other angels surrounding her. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you from all of us that loved this little girl so much <3

Hi my name is Austin Konchar, I am Aubrey's uncle and just one of many family members and friends who were devastated to learn of the real cause of Aubrey's recent health issues. She has been diagnosed with a very rare cancer, stage 4 Adrenocortical carcinoma, which has been diagnosed and confirmed by tests, biopsy, and doctors at Lurie Children's Hospital here in Chicago. She will begin her treatment plan next Wednesday.

We are all aware of the tough road ahead for her but we all remain hopeful, positive and full of belief that she will find her way through this with the help, love, and support of all of her family, friends, and the great doctors and nurses overseeing her diagnosis and treatment plan.

My brother Ralph, Aubrey's father, is a proud member of Local 150 Operating Engineers and works tirelessly to provide for his daughters Aubrey and Kaelyn and his sons Adyn, Carson, and Levi. The Konchars have been proud and hardworking members of the Local 150 Union for over 65 years thanks to our father, brothers, uncles, and grandfather. He is the best father a kid could hope to have and the best girl dad I have ever seen. There is nothing he would not do to make sure his kids are healthy and happy, which is what he has done since becoming a father at a very young age. This news has been devastating to all of us but especially him and he is spending every waking second he has with Aubrey (to no surprise) and will continue to do so every step of the way.

With this said, the medical bills have already begun to come in and the most expensive part is yet to come with her treatment plan beginning at Lurie's next Wednesday. Anyone that knows us Konchars knows a few things about us; We are very stubborn (yes we are all very aware of it haha), we are willing to do anything for the people we love and care about, and we do not ask for or expect help from anyone unless we really need it. This is one of those times.

Please continue to say prayers and keep positive thoughts for Aubrey, Ralph, Jackie and Aubrey's brothers. All of the love, thoughts, and prayers so far have been amazing and are giving Aubrey strength for her upcoming battle. Please feel free to reach out to Ralph and Jackie, Aubrey's Grandparents Ralph and Brenda Konchar, as well as myself, Aubrey, and her siblings as we go through this difficult time. We can use all the prayers, love, energy, and positive thoughts we can get right now. If you are willing and able to donate to this GoFundMe for Aubrey's battle with cancer, the money will be going directly to Aubrey's medical bills and to help Ralph to be able to take time away from work in order to spend all of his time with Aubrey. It's difficult to put into words just how grateful Ralph, Aubrey, and all of us who love her so much would be for any donation you can make, as well as any prayers or thoughts!

No donation is too small or too big and we could not be more thankful for all of the love, thoughts, support, and prayers many of you have already given us for this sweet girl that we all love so much! #AubreyKoncharStrong
