We are the Fort Collins High Class of 1995. This year, we came together to celebrate our 30th class reunion, but one was missing...our senior class president, the one who was named "the nicest guy in high school," Matt Martin. On April 11, 2021, Matt suffered a massive heart attack and left his wife, Michelle, and two small girls, Amelia and Madeline (Matty) behind. Matt was such a special person to us all. We were all touched in some way by his kindness.
At the reunion, we talked about starting an education fund for his two girls. Let's do it! All funds raised will be deposited equally into Amelia and Madeline's education accounts.
Today is October 15, Matt's birthday. His wife and friends have named this day, Saint Matty's Day. It is a day where we perform random acts of kindness for others in honor of Matt. He was so kind, and it is our way to keep his spirit alive and spread kindness to others. Let's perform a very intentional act of kindness back to Matt and support his daughters' education.
