Please Help Jaden

Samantha J. White resided in Richmond VA with her 13-year-old son Jaden A. Jones. Jaden's father was killed by blunt force injury from an unknown assailant. Samantha's whole world revolved around her son, and she provided for Jaden as best she could as a single mother. Despite their difficult circumstances, Jaden remained an A student, and his bond with his mother only grew stronger.

On December 17, 2018 Samantha died tragically from a sudden illness. On December 18th, Jaden arrived at the home of his maternal grandmother in New York City with nothing but the clothes on his back and a broken heart.

Jaden's grandmother suffers from severe chronic illness and is of an advanced age. She will now have to continue to raise, support, and sustain Jaden on a meager fixed income. Before her daughter's tragic and untimely passing, Jaden's grandmother was already struggling to cover her rent, her medicine co-pays, and the cost of food. With this devastating tragedy, she is now faced with the insurmountable task of raising a teenager in New York City. While she can provide for Jaden emotionally, backed by the convictions of her strong faith, she cannot provide for him financially. I have started this campaign in the hopes of raising money to go toward the cost of Jaden's continued upbringing.
