This page is for my Nan , she has terminal cancer and her wish is to make a real difference. Her chosen charity to help is The Shetland Rescue , as this means a lot to her, I will also be running a 10k at aintree racecourse on the 17th December to support this cause , If you can please join her in making a difference? More information about Shetland Rescue Horse & Pony Sanctuary: We are a non funded organisation. We take care of 80 horses and numerous other animals. The charity has been established since 1984. We have one paid employee and the rest of from the voluntary sector. We have a facebook page and a website for everyone to look at to show how we manage our rescue.
