Alyssa's Medical Bills

I first met Alyssa through her sister Rachel. Rachel and I have been close friends and roommates off and on for years.  Since I have known Alyssa, she has been one of the most positive, upbeat, fun and driven women I've known.  Her positive attitude and stength thoughout everything she has been through is inspiring. 

Alyssa has had a brain tumor since she was 15. After undergoing two major brain surgeries and most recently a third biopsy surgery, her doctors have finally decided it is time for more aggressive treatment. At her most recent appointments, MRI scans showed that Alyssa's brain tumor has grown and is now a cause for concern. For the next 10 weeks, Alyssa will be going down to Stanford to receive weekly chemotherapy treatments. As you can imagine, that is incredibly costly in and of itself. However, her journey isn't stopping there. The chemo is mainly being given to assist ease of access for Alyssa's 4th brain surgery, where her neurosurgeon will do his best to debulk as much of the tumor as possible. Whatever he can't get will then be treated with radiation. Traveling back and forth, hotel stays and medical expenses are adding up and the Worleys could really use our help during this time. Alyssa is incredibly thankful for past GoFundme support, as it has alleviated so much stress and helped her get through everything up to this point. She told me how hard it is asking for help, but truly hopes that she can someday pay it forward and is very grateful for any and all support during this time -- prayers included!
