Meet Phoenix
Phoenix is just 4 months old, but he has already faced more hardship than most kittens ever should.
Phoenix and his sister were abandoned at only 7 weeks old. They were tiny, frightened, and completely dependent on kindness to survive. We took them in, gave them warmth, safety, and love — and watched them slowly learn what it means to be cared for.
His sister is now thriving, playful, and growing stronger every day. But sadly, Phoenix’s journey has taken a heartbreaking turn.
Phoenix has recently been diagnosed with Dry FIP and neuro fip (Feline Infectious Peritonitis) — a disease that was once considered a death sentence for cats, especially kittens. Despite everything he’s already overcome, he is now fighting for his life.
The devastating part is that there is hope.
A treatment exists that has saved thousands of cats worldwide, but it is expensive and unfortunately we don’t have insurance , costing thousands of pounds for treatment alongside ongoing vet visits, blood tests, and supportive care.
Phoenix is still the same loving, gentle kitten who purrs when cuddled and follows us everywhere. He wants to play, grow, and live the long life every kitten deserves. We refuse to give up on him — but we cannot do this alone.
We are asking for help to give Phoenix a fighting chance.
phoenix is currently hospitalised at the vets due to severe dehydration. We are having support from the amazing FIP cats uk charity so thank you so much to them who have already helped us with phoenixs currently hospital stay and blood test but we still have a long way to go.
Every donation, no matter how small, will go directly toward:
• Life-saving FIP medication
• Veterinary care and monitoring
• Blood tests and follow-up treatment
If you can’t donate, please consider sharing Phoenix’s story. Sharing could be what saves his life.
Phoenix survived abandonment. Now we want to help him survive FIP too.
Thank you for believing in him ❤️
