FC Montgomery U15 soccer regional tournament

My name is Bob Poling, head coach of the FC Montgomery under 15 boys soccer team. We are part of a small soccer club located in Montgomery, Alabama. I have had the privilege of coaching these boys for four years. This past December, we achieved one of our long-term goals; qualification for the United States Youth Soccer regional tournament, the Presidents Cup.

The US Youth Soccer Presidents Cup, southern region tournament, is open to the top finishers of a state’s youth soccer playoffs. It is designed for those teams seeking additional challenges to play against teams of similar abilities for a national title from states in their region. The Presidents Cup provides a progressive, competitive experience to teams that might not otherwise get the opportunity to participate in a series of unique experiences highlighting competition, camaraderie, and community from the state to regional to national levels of US Youth Soccer. Teams from Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Texas will participate in the Presidents Cup. The u15 boys’ team is the first team in our club’s history to qualify for this tournament.

When: 14-18 June 2023 in Greenville, South Carolina.
