My name is Mike Crame and I'm one of the coaches for the FC Arizona 2008 Boys soccer team along with Brad Rekuc, Kevin Calbert, our team manager Melissa Helmkamp and our Head Coach Bobby Olayo. We have a group of boys that have been working since last May to improve themselves as young men and as footballers in hopes of reaching their goal of winning President's Cup. I'm incredibly proud to announce we've done just that. The next step in the journey is a team trip to Boise, Idaho to play against teams in the far west which includes California, Washington, Oregon and others. Getting a group of 22 boys and coaches to Idaho is proving to be an expensive task which is why we're reaching out to our friends, families and the community for help. We're a non profit organization and as coaches we spend a lot of our own money to ensure our teams have everything they need to give us the best chance to be successful but we really need help for this. Our goal is to raise $10,000 which will pay for travel, food and lodging for at least 6 players. Anything helps and even $10 will buy a couple of meals for someone on the road. We appreciate your help and look forward to representing FC Arizona and the state of Arizona in Idaho!
