My friend Miranda has a huge, huge heart. She is one of the first to step in and help a friend and as it turns out, she's in need a little help herself.

It's been she and Molly for 8.5 years now but just last week, she added a second pup to their family - making them a pack of three.

His name is Amiko (aka Miko) - Italian for buddy and she's fallen head over heels. We all have.


Miko was transferred to a Delaware SPCA from Texas with 3 siblings, which were all adopted out on the same day as Miko.  Unfortunately, Miranda just found out that he has parvo, which without treatment is most certainly fatal. All of the siblings have been relinquished back to the shelter due to the cost of treatment but Miranda's trying desperately to give Miko a chance at survival and ultimately, a furever home.  

She took him to a vet hospital where he'll need to stay for 5-7 days with round the clock care but it's expensive to say the least and we don't want money to prevent him from getting the treatment he so desperately needs.
