Poss Music Works NFP is a 501(c)3 nonprofit; our Mission Statement is to bring and foster music and culture to the Downstate Illinois area, with Effingham, IL as ground zero.
Additionally, Poss Music Works aims to instill an interest in, and love of, great Americana music in the regions youth.
All of our music festivals offer free admission to patrons 15 and under. We provide youth open mics around the region and we are partnering with communities to present ‘youth music shows’ featuring young performers, for young patrons, in a family friendly, alcohol free environment.
Your donation to the Poss Music Works Spring-Board Fundraiser will allow us to continue and to expand our services this year, especially free events like kids open mics, youth concerts, and even add elder enrichment programs. Our team also supports and mentors artists of all ages. You’ll help us support our operating costs and help us get to the next level in supporting musicians and music-lovers of all ages in downstate Illinois.
Our music festivals are mostly self-sustaining through ticket sales - we also invite you to attend a festival or two this year to support our work and to have a great time.

Admission to Festivals is free for kids 15 and under accompanied by an adult, because we want families to be able to attend and experience the music and culture that we bring. We also provide some free tickets to our local group, Community Support Systems, who helps developmentally citizens live independent lives.
We want to make our area a great place to live, by making a welcoming creative community for all ages. We hope you’ll join our cause today, that you’ll join us at one of our events this year, and for years to come. Thanks for your time!
