Surgery/Vet bills for Hunter

Hi everyone,
On Friday I recieved the devastating news that my beloved dog, Hunter, of 13 years has a mass growing on his kidney. That mass is cancerous and for his survival the kidney needs to be removed as soon as possible. The other option was euthanasia and at this point I can't bring myself to make that decision considering the vet is optimistic about his quality of life after surgery. Although Hunter is 14 and has had an amazing life I Want to give him a fighting chance he deserves with more time on this Earth. We never know what the future holds for any of us so with that being said I'm making the choice to proceed with surgery.
Hunter has been my best friend for 13 years and has got me through some of my lowest times in life as well as shared in my happiest times. He is truly an amazing companion.
I was hesitant to do this campaign as asking for help can be difficult but I feel like it's the best chance to alleviate some of the financial burden on myself. So far the cost of diagnostics including bloodwork, xrays, ultrasounds, medications, overnight stays in the ER has totalled $2,400 and I am expected to pay another $2,300 for the actual surgery which will happen soon. I thank anyone reading this who can help in any way or just even sending positivity and support in our direction. Thank you so much!
