My name is Norberto Rayray and here's my story.

Everything was so perfect in my family and indeed God has generously blessed us with many good things. Not until the very bad news came.

It was Sept. 15, 2015 when my wife was diagnosed witth Invasive Ductal Carcinoma STAGE IIIA. We Could not accept it, we were speechless and our world suddenly stopped. But our doctor says, it's not the end of everything and there are available treatment for her disease.

So we discussed the whole process of treatment. He then told us that my wife needs to undergo Modified Radical Mastectomy on her Right Breast,
6 Cycle Chemo Therapy and 33 Cycle of Radiation.

Fear was our greatest struggles, knowing that the side effects of the whole treatment is already at hand.
But we have no choice, we have to follow what should be followed. So we decided to take the whole process of
treatment.

Following her Doctor's recommended treatment, my wife underwent MRM last October 7, 2015. Several test were made after surgery. But there was bad news again. They found out that her cancer is Her-2/neu Positive.
He explained that it's an agressive type of breast cancer and it's very rare. The recurrence is very high and so my wife needs to take additional regemen called the Trastuzumab treatment aside from Surgery, Chemotherapy and Radiation.

Trastuzumab treatment is very expensive and can cost $40,000 (2Million in Peso currency) for the whole treatment for one year. The most recommended drug for my wife's condition is the Herceptin Drug. According to studies, this drug blocks the growth and recurrence of cancer with her2+ type of breast cancer.
Chemotherapy was already finished and we are now in the radiation treatment. We are already financially drained. The amount of money for her Trastuzumab treatment is impossible for us to produce. I don't have regular income since I am also a person with disability. We're doing the best we could just to sustain the expenses of my wife's treatment but it's just not enough. We are indeed in need of help.

I'm writing this letter and asking you to help us. I believe it's God who brought me to you.

My wife's condition is not easy to bear, but with your help and by the grace of God, i know she can win this battle.The battle is too risky to take but we consider it "a chance". A chance for her to live longer.
