INCREDIBLE NEWS, FBMS FAMILY! ❤️
A HUGE THANK YOU to Pace Flooring for donating ALL the carpet for our auditorium!
We are one BIG step closer to making this dream a reality! We now have only $4,000 left to cover installation costs to have Phase 1 ready by December 1!
Also, two local companies have generously donated their time and professional expertise, providing services valued at $17,000!
* SLR Acoustical Consultants — Sound acoustic engineering analysis
* RO — LiDAR imaging and blueprint map updates
SLR conducted an acoustical analysis on October 15, 2026, and confirmed that no major updates are needed, just a few minor recommendations.
A huge thank-you to all companies for sharing their expertise and supporting our local initiative.
The FBMS Legacy Fund was created in September 2026 with unanimous support from the FBMS Principal De Castro & FBMS PTO Leadership Board to support improvements to the Frank Black Middle School.
This year: THE AUDITORIUM
Every donation brings us one step closer to making this project a reality!
Our goal is to complete Phase 1 by December 2026, so students can enjoy an improved space for moving-on ceremonies, NJHS inductions, sports awards, and other special school events.
Phase 2 is a more ambitious renovation planned for summer 2027. Our goals are to repair, sand, and repaint all 845 auditorium chairs, as well as improve the sound booth and stage lighting.
Together, we can create a lasting space that benefits generations of Panthers. Let’s leave a legacy at FBMS!
If your company is willing to help we also have permanent plaques. Please reach out!
